For months now we have walked around wearing face masks, trying to stay away from people for fear of contracting this horrible virus. For some it's like a common cold, but for others it's deadly. And sometimes we feel like we're no closer to knowing what is going on or even if this will ever be over.

This year has been crazy for our whole family because we've all worried so much about Ian and Katy being around people (including us) and getting sick. When Henry was born almost 6 weeks ago, they took Katy into labor and delivery first. She had to be by herself for a long time to make sure she was in labor before they would let Ian in. Normally, parents about to have a baby just walk right into the hospital and check in together. Not this time... not for a lot of people having babies. We hope it gets back to normal one day.

We are all being very careful and very protective. We all wear masks when we're with Henry. Someday we won't have to, but for now, it's best.
